The Annual UCD Agriculture, Food Science and Human Nutrition Careers Day has a long and proud tradition, providing employers and final year students the chance to showcase their opportunities and talents at a dynamic, interactive event. It is a chance for UCD graduates to meet with employers and learn about their recruitment process and application guidelines.
A number of 46 exhibitors participated in Careers Day 2019. The event took place at the Astra Hall (University College Dublin Student Centre) and had an estimated number of over 400 students attending. Teagasc had a large present in the exhibit and last year students had the chance to meet with our research staff and discuss career opportunities and the details of the Walsh Fellowshipsprogramme, as well as other external sources of funding such as Marie Curie Actions or other calls from the Irish Research Council.
