About me
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in Teagasc under the MSCA CAROLINE Cofund programme, and I am the main researcher of the MastiSTAPH project. As a veterinarian, I have developed my experience in Animal Husbandry and Food Science. I consider that nowadays, research concerning food and nutrition is a fundamental matter for human and animal health, as the aims of animal husbandry have evolved in the last years, to produce not only sustainable products, but also high quality food, in order to satisfy the costumers needs. My research interests include dairy production, herd health, milk quality, microbiology and genomics. My aim in the immediate future is to continue researching in this fields of knowledge, in order to grow as a scientist.
